      On September 10, 2024, the 2024 BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Forum opened in Xiamen City, Fujian Province. Jin Zhuanglong, Minister of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China; Zhou Zuyi, Secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial People's Congress; Dilma Rousseff, President of the New Development Bank; Eloy Martínez, Minister of Industry of Cuba; Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade of Morocco; Mangaliso Ndlovu, Minister of Industry and Commerce of Zimbabwe; Tarekegn Bululta, State Minister of Industry of Ethiopia; Christopher Deane, Director of the National Data Management Authority of Guyana; Juan Quevedo, Vice Minister of People's Power for Industry and Domestic Production of Venezuela; Assem Hanafi, Egyptian Ambassador to China; and Cui Yonghui, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee attended and delivered speeches. Zhao Long, Governor of Fujian Province, was present at the forum. Xin Guobin, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology, and Lin Ruiliang, Vice Governor of Fujian Province, co-chaired the forum.
